第一世噶瑪巴杜松虔巴涅槃紀念日.
To commemorate the anniversary of the First Karmapa Dusum Khyenpa’s parinirvana, the monks and khenpos gathered in the main shrine hall of Tergar Monastery to offer the Dusum Khyenpa guru yoga entitled Showers of Blessings. Previously, there had been no specific guru yoga for Dusum Khyenpa, so this sadhana was composed specially by the 17th Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, for the Karmapa 900celebration of the 900th anniversary of Karmapa Dusum Khyenpa’s birth in 2010. He also requested the heart sons Tai Situ Rinpoche, Jamgön Kongtrul Rinpoche, and Goshir Gyaltsab Rinpoche to write supplications, offerings, and auspicious prayers, which are included in the practice.
