༄༅། །བཀའ་བརྒྱུད་དགུན་ཆོས་ཆེན་མོ་ཐེངས་ཉེར་བཞི་པའི་སྐལ་བཟང་གི་དུས་འདིར་མར་མི་དྭགས་གསུམ་དང་། དུས་གསུམ་མཁྱེན་པ་བཅས་ཀྱི་འཁྲུངས་འདས་ལོ་ཚིགས་ལ་བསྐྱར་ཞིབ་ཀྱི་བགྲོ་གླེང་ཆེན་མོ་ཉིན་གཉིས་པ།
This year’s Kagyu Conference topic concerned the dates of the births and parinirvanas of the forefathers of the Kagyu lineage: Marpa, Milarepa, Gampopa and Dusum Khyenpa.
The conference lasted three days, during which on the first day, Khenpo Thubten Jinpa introduced the topic of Marpa’s birth to parinirvana and Gen Lekthong introduced the topic of remembrance of Milarepa.
On the second day Gen Chokyong Nyima introduced the topic of remembering Gampopa and Khenpo Karma Tseten talked about Dusum Khyenpa’s namthar or spiritual biography.
Finally, on the third day, Geshe Beri Jigme Wangyel talked about Dusum Khyenpa’s birthplace.
Papers were distributed covering each topic, and after the introduction, khenpos and teachers had fifteen minutes to raise doubts and ask questions. Then the students also had fifteen minutes to do the same.
